Hi! I'm a retired Grandma from Georgia, USA. After seeing several things online that I really liked, I figured I could make them myself! I started out with crocheted ruffled scarves. Then I added a few earrings and pendants.....and I just kept going!
My shop's name is very special to me. My Dad had a white peach tree in his yard. It came up as "volunteer", as they say. My Dad moved it from the woods to his yard. I'm told it is special because it has both white blossoms and peaches. It even has a special name given to it by the agriculture folks: the Brooks White Peach! The cottage part of the name I chose because I once lived in England and fell in love with the thatched cottages there. So I combined two of my favorite things.
When I'm not making things, you can usually find me reading, babysitting the grandkids, and napping. LOL. I live in central GA with my hubby and various assorted pets.
