Witch bells, also called faerie bells, have long been used to ward off evil spirits, the evil eye, etc.

Each of these witch bells is different and are all handmade and are OOAK.

This one is done in silver-toned metals.

I started with a silver-toned metal bangle. I used a bangle because it's large enough to fit over most doorknobs.

Attached to the bangle is a 1 1/2 inch solid cast o ring with a Flower of Life or Seed of Life charm.

Hanging behind the ring are 5 strands of silver-toned chain.
Hanging from the chains are 7 bells, 2 filigree heart charms, and 6 wings with roses on them.

No spells or intentions have been placed on or used with, these bells. You must add your own.

The purpose of, meaning, and use of bells varies widely between different cultures and traditions. It's generally understood that the ringing of a bell communicates as a message of some kind, whether to participate in religious beliefs or to entities in the spirit world. It's said that Faeries are known to love to jingle bells to announce their presence. It's also been said that the bells will repel any dark Fae. For this reason, they are also sometimes called "Faerie Bells". Bells can even be worn. They are attached to clothing, worn as amulets, and even hung around the necks of farm animals for protection from bad spirits. Shopkeepers hung bells over their thresholds, not so much as to alert them to customers coming in, but to protect their property and keep negative or evil spirits for entering their premises. Bells have many uses in witchcraft and spellwork. They disturb the vibrations of other energies and help reset. You can enchant the bells to offer protection or to simply bring cheer to your home whenever they ring. Bells are rung as a call to prayer in many religions. The purpose dates to times long ago when bells were used, even then, to ward of evil spirits.
