Amethyst and Burgundy ceramic or glass beads are showcased in this set of 19 and 5 Baha'i prayer beads.
All findings and charms in this set of prayer beads are silver toned metal.
The beads are hand-wired on eye pins using my trusty little looper tool.
The 19 smaller beads are 8mm round Chevron Amethyst.
The 5 large counter beads are wine colored ceramic and are about an inch long and 3/4 inch wide.
One end has a silver toned metal butterfly charm.
The other end has a silver toned chain tassel.
This set of prayer beads is about 20 inches long from the charm to end of the tassel.
All prayer beads will come in a small organza bag for safe storage.

The Baha'i faith was founded in the mid-1800's by a Persian holy man named Baha'u'llah. Persons of Baha'i faith recite Allah-u-Abha, a form of God's name, 95 times a day. Baha'i prayer beads consist of some factor of 95. The 19 beads, when counted 5 times, makes 95. The smaller 19 beads count the recitation of God's name and the larger 5 beads keep track of the number of repetitions of the 19.
The spacer beads are decorative and are not counted.
