Othodox Chotki, gold tone, blue Malay jade, blue glass beads, detailed budded crucifix, religious, hand-wired, OOAK, Komboskini, Chotki

$34.50 $46.00

This Chotki is made with blue Malay Jade and blue glass beads.

It's set in gold-toned metal.

It features a large, budded, detailed crucifix

Chotki, sometimes also known as Komboskini, are used in Eastern Orthodox Christianity.

Most Komboskini are made with wool and are knotted.

These Chotki are a more modern variation and are hand-wired like rosaries.

This set is hand-wired using eye pins and my trusty little looper tool.

This is not a store-bought rosary chain.

This Chotki has 3 sets of 11 beads separated by 3 larger beads.

The smaller beads are 8mm cobalt blue Malay jade beads.

The large beads are 12mm cobalt blue glass beads.

The eye pins in this set of beads are gold-toned metal.

The jump ring and crucifix are gold-toned metal, as well.
The crucifix measures 48x31mm.
25.4mm is about 1 inch.

All findings and crucifixes are plated base metal and are nickel, lead, and arsenic-free.

This set of prayer beads is 13 inches long from the center top of the loop to the bottom of the crucifix.

If you would prefer this Chotki to have a cross instead of a crucifix, please let me know and I will swap it out for you.

Custom orders are welcome.

Silver, gold, copper, brass, or gunmetal toned metal can be used.

Stainless steel findings are also now available.

Many more bead and glass pearl choices are available.

Gemstones and Sterling Silver findings and crucifixes are also an option but will require longer to ship.

This Chotki will come with a complimentary organza bag for safe storage.

More info on the Eastern Orthodox Christianity, including Greek and Russian Orthodox, will be added at a later date.

Information on how to pray using the beads will also be added.

Malay Jade (Quartzite) Legend - Often called Malay Jade but not a true Jade it is actually dyed Quartzite. Quartzites are formed through the metamorphism of quartz-rich sandstones. They are formed mostly of the mineral quartz. These Malay Jade beads are dyed attractive colors.
