This is a new style of Baha'i prayer beads. It's a fan or whip style, and is a full 95 bead set of prayer beads.
I really love this style. It hangs so nicely and is very unique.
It has 5 strands of 19 glass pearls attached to a 1 inch split ring.
The bracelet has 95 8mm glass pearls in 5 colors.
There is 1 strand each of dark violet purple, lavender, dusty rose, pastel blue, and ivory.
The 5 strands are attached to the split ring with aluminum jump rings.
Also attached to the ring is a large double-sided tree of life charm.
It's connected to the ring with a chain maille chain.
There is a silver-toned metal open style heart charm attached to the bottom of each strand.
The beads are hand-wired using silver toned eye pins and my trusty little looper tool.
More info on the Baha'i faith, its symbolism, history, and how to use the prayer beads to follow.
All prayer beads will come in a small organza bag for safe storage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Baha'i faith was founded in the mid-1800's by a Persian holy man named Baha'u'llah. Persons of Baha'i faith recite Allah-u-Abha, a form of God's name, 95 times a day. Baha'i prayer beads consist of some factor of 95. The 19 beads, when counted 5 times, makes 95. The smaller 19 beads count the recitation of God's name and the larger 5 beads keep track of the number of repetitions of the 19.
The spacer beads are decorative and are not counted.
Much more information about Baha'i, the history, symbolism, and how to pray using the beads will be added.
I also can do Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, Methodist, Protestant, Episcopal, Universal Unitarian, Baha'i, Islamic Tesbih, Lutheran, or Pagan prayer beads.
