This Lillith bangle was made using a silver-toned metal expandable bangle.
It features five silver-toned metal charms. They are:
A large Tree of life charm.
Two serpent charms.
Two apple charms.
The charms are attached to the bangle using aluminum jump rings.
This expandable bangle will fit the average woman's wrist.
According to the myth, (?), Lillith was Adam's first wife. She was created at the same time as Adam, from the same soil.
She refused to be subservient to Adam, that is, to lie underneath him. She ran from the Garden of Eden. So God made Eve from Adam's rib so she would be subservient and obedient to him. Lillith transformed into a serpent and tried to warn Eve.
The Christian narrative says she became Samuel's bride, or the bride of Satan. She has been blamed for the whole Serpent and apple thing ever since.
To pagans, she is one badass feminist and a Goddess to some.
The story is found in older versions of the scriptures. It's also found in the Jewish scripture to this day.
So was she a real person? A metaphor? A myth? A story to keep women subservient? A Goddess? A demon?
You decide.
I will add links to sites with more info.
Also available in stainless steel.
See last photo for comparison of the stainless steel bangle and the alloy bangle. The stainless steel bangle has three loops.
