This gorgeous Lasercut Death's head moth necklace in silver-tone is one of a kind!
It features a large laser-cut wooden Death's Head moth on a huge silver-toned metal filigree heart.
You may recognize the moth from the movie Silence of the Lambs.
There is an actual moth called the Death's Head. It's a type of Hawk moth and gets its name from the pattern on its head, which resembles a skull.

The laser-cut moth was made by affixing a photo or picture of the moth to thin plywood and then cutting it out with a laser cutter.
Note. I do not make the laser cuts. I just assemble the jewelry.
The moth was affixed to the filigree heart using a strong adhesive.
On either side of the center heart, I added another smaller filigree heart upside down, then three beads on eye pins.
There are two dark and light amber or topaz 8x6mm Czech faceted glass beads, and one 8mm clear frosted cultured recycled sea glass bead on each side.
In the top center of the large heart, just above the moth's antenna, is another topaz 8x6mm Czech glass bead.
I finished the necklace with a large oval link silver-toned chain and a lobster claw clasp.
All the pieces are connected with sturdy aluminum jump rings.
The chain, findings, and hearts are silver-toned metal plated metal alloy.
Since this cutout is paper on wood, I would suggest not getting it wet.
This necklace is 26 1/2 inches long but I will be glad to lengthen or shorten it for you.
