These unique pendants are made with cruelty-free real Tegu shed skins and are sure to be a real conversation piece.
No reptiles were harmed. Reptiles periodically shed their old skin as they grow. I always hated to just throw the sheds away.
These pendants are made with metal bezel settings with a 25mm tray. The reptile shed was trimmed to fit the frame and a colored piece of cardstock was placed underneath the skin. A domed clear glass cabochon was placed on top of the skin and the edges were sealed with diamond glaze. The glaze dries clear and hardens like resin.
This listing is for one pendant. It will come with a matching chain.
All are from a Platinum Tegu named Dexter. A Platinum Tegu is a cross between a Red Tegu and a Blue Tegu.
The sheds were donated by Dexter's Mom, Shannon S.
